In Happy City dovrete raccogliere carte che vi forniranno punti felicità. La felicità di una città è data dal numero di abitanti moltiplicato per il numero di cuori presenti sulle vostre carte.
l gioco di svolge in round, composto ciascuno in due fasi.
FASE ENTRATE. Simultaneamente i giocatori incassano le monete indicate sulle carte della loro città.
FASE AZIONI. I giocatori, a turno, possono scartare una carta Edificio presente nell’area centrale, ma poi devono girare carte Edificio per renderne sempre 3 visibili. A questo punto, devono acquistare una carta pagandone il costo (possono, invece, prendere una moneta). Lo scopo è quello di prendere carte per costruire la propria città che, al termine del gioco fornisca il maggior numero di punti.
La partita termina quando un giocatore posiziona la decima carta nella propria città. Il giocatore con il maggior numero di punti felicità (numero di abitanti per cuori) vince.
